Brian Berkel, Faculty

Brian Berkel retired from the Massachusetts State Police as a Detective Lieutenant in 2021.  During his 25-year career, one of his assignments was with the Department's Crisis Negotiation Team. Brian serves on the Board of Directors for Berkshire HorseWorks, a nonprofit structured around equine-assisted therapeutic and educational modalities. 

He also serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for the Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention (BCSP), a nonprofit organization with which he has been affiliated since 2009.
