About LifeBreath
Institute
LifeBreath Institute evolved from a Frontline Providers program developed in 2011 by Lillian Lennox and Robin Carnes. Robin Carnes is the co-founder of Warriors At Ease.
Frontline Providers was based on clinical research studies funded by the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The program offered mind-body, CAM-based preventative, and trauma healing practices to people at risk for a broad range of psychological stress and moral injury.
LifeBreath Institute continues this work by offering programs designed for people working in high-stress, high-stakes environments to prevent stress injury, and moral injury and to build resilience.
We also offer an evidence-based program for leadership on how to build and support a resilient organization.
LifeBreath programs are designed:
To meet the growing demand for specialized complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) programs that are trauma-informed, evidence-based, safe, and effective.
To address the current gap in preventative resilience training that integrates both psychological and physical health strategies for active-duty frontline and first responders professionals and volunteers.
To build individual and group mind, body, and spirit resilience.
Our Mission
To provide education and skills and drills practices for people at risk of burnout so that they can thrive in their careers and life.
Our Vision
To integrate mind-body drills and skills practices into both the workplace and daily life. To prevent psychological stress and moral injury, and to support mental health resiliency and post-traumatic growth.
LifeBreath Institute Core Focus
